Daily Devo app privacy policy

Daily Devo is a daily devotional app from Proclaim Salvation Today ("PS.Today", "we", "us"). It shares a short Bible reading (KJV), a plain explanation and a prayer each day, in English, Hindi and Odia. This page explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. It adds to our general PS.Today privacy policy.

What we collect

If you only read: nothing that identifies you. The app downloads the day's devotional and keeps a copy on your phone so it works offline.

If you sign in (with Google or a code sent to your email):

• Account: your email address and name. If you use Google, Google shares your name, email and profile photo with us. The photo is shown only to you, on your own profile.
• Profile you choose to add: country, age group, gender, app language and, if you want WhatsApp devotionals in future, a phone number. Everything except age group is optional.
• Reading activity: which days you read, the language, your time zone, and the rhythm, points and badges that come from it.
• 7/7 Club: whether you have chosen to show your first name in the club.
• Readers aged 13 to 17: the email address of a parent or guardian, and whether they said yes.

Kept only on your phone: your reminder times and whether you have read today (used for reminders). Reminders are scheduled by your phone; we do not send push messages from our servers.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or the photos and files on your phone. When you share a card, the image is made on your phone and goes only where you send it.

How we use it

• To keep your rhythm, points, badges and language on every phone and on ps.today (one account for both).
• To show the 7/7 Club. Only first names are shown, only if you switch it on, and never for anyone under 18.
• To ask a parent or guardian for consent when a reader is 13 to 17.
• To understand, in total numbers only, how many people read, so we can write better devotionals.
• To keep the app safe and working.

Points and badges are never exchanged for money, gifts or prizes.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We use a few trusted services to run the app:

• Supabase stores accounts and reading activity.
• Sanity stores the devotionals (no personal information).
• Resend sends consent emails to parents and guardians.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We may share information if the law requires it.

Children

Daily Devo is not for children under 13, and they cannot create an account. Readers aged 13 to 17 can sign in, and we email a parent or guardian to say yes. If the parent says no, the account and everything in it is deleted. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and reading activity while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete it and everything linked to it straight away. Copies in our providers' backups are removed on their normal backup cycle.

Delete your account

• In the app: Me, then Delete my account.
• On the web: ps.today/delete-account.
• By email: write to premasis@ps.today from the email on your account.

Your Daily Devo account is also your ps.today account, so deleting it removes both.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your profile in the app at any time (Me, then Edit profile), turn the 7/7 Club name off, turn reminders off, and ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it.

Security

Information travels over encrypted connections. Each person can only read and change their own records, and only a small team at PS.Today can see accounts to support you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
