Do Not Panic
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
— Galatians 6:2
The Bible tells us that we are not meant to live in isolation, but rather we are called to help and support each other. In Galatians 6:2, reminds us of the importance of helping each other, especially in times of need.
Recently, while attending a mission conference in Dubai, I experienced the “Grace of God” of someone helping me in my time of need. My friends and I were out shopping late at night and found ourselves stranded when we realized we had missed the last metro. With our hotel far away, we felt helpless and unsure of what to do. It's little distrubing because of first time visiting a new country and unguided.
But then, a Pakistani man approached us and offered to help. He guided us on how to get back to our hotel, even walking with us halfway to ensure we were on the right path. It’s strange a Pakistani helping an Indian or vice verse. This man was like a God-sent helper, showing us kindness and compassion when we needed it most.
In moments like these, it's easy to panic and feel overwhelmed. However, we must remember to trust in God and have faith that He will provide for us. We must also remember that we are not alone, God will send people who can support and help us when we need it.
So let us take inspiration from Galatians 6:2 and seek to help each other in times of need. Let us also have faith and trust in God, knowing that He will provide for us and send helpers to guide us when we need it most. Amen.
