Claim Your True Identity!

Hey there, friend! Have you ever felt like you're not good enough or defined by your mistakes or struggles? You might hear thoughts like, *"I'm just an anxious person," or "I'm nothing but a failure." But guess what? Those thoughts aren't coming from you, and they're certainly not coming from God. They're lies trying to become your identity. But who are you, really?

Remember Romans 8:37? It says, "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." That's right! You're more than a conqueror, not 'cause you're superhuman, but because you're loved by the One who is!

Imagine this: someone fought addiction, labelling themselves as "an addict." One day, they declared, "I am not an addict," trusting God's view instead. Suddenly, their chains broke. They felt a wave of God's love, and their addiction vanished, leaving a fiery love for Jesus in its place.

Are there false labels you've stuck on yourself? It's time to rip them off and declare your real identity! Try it: say, "I am a child of God. I am healed, forgiven, righteous, and holy in Christ Jesus." Don't let those first-person lies trick you. Speak the truth of who you are in Jesus. Because in Him, you're not what your negative thoughts say you are. You're what He says you are: cherished, strong, and destined for greatness. And guess what? Nothing can change that truth!
