When A City Prosper, You Prosper

As believers, we are called to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13-16). Our duty is not only to focus on our personal salvation, but also to care for the well-being of the community around us. God have given responsibility to you to seek the welfare of the city where we are living, and to pray for its well-being.

We may encounter many challenges and opportunities to serve others. Cities can be both wonderful and challenging places to live, with a diverse mix of people and cultures, economic and social difficulties, and complex issues such as crime, poverty, and injustice.

So what does it mean to seek the welfare of the city? It means actively working towards the well-being of the people and communities around us. This may involve advocating for justice and equality, supporting local businesses and organizations, volunteering our time and resources to help those in need, and building relationships with our neighbors.

This is where, we the body of Christ should be unite to invade the city and bless everyone to bring a change towards a common goal.

But it also means praying for our city, seeking God's wisdom and guidance for how we can best serve and love those around us. We can pray for our leaders and elected officials, for the safety and protection of our city, and for opportunities to share the love of Christ with those we encounter.

Remember, You are a city leader, influencing others, being a body of Christ you can bless your city to be prosperous.
