Stay Strong, Stay Courageous

Have you ever felt that life's pressures are just too much? Ever wondered why God asks you to remain brave when things are falling apart? It's right there in Joshua 1:9: He's literally commanding us to be strong and courageous. Not only when life's good and easy, but all the time! Why? 'Cause He's right there with you. Everywhere.

Now, you might be thinking, “How can I possibly stay strong during tough times?” Let’s get this straight: He won’t ask something of you without giving you the means to do it. You have the Holy Spirit in you, right? That means you're packed with joy, peace, and hope (Rom. 15:13). That strength? It is not from your own power, buddy. It's straight from Him.

So, what's your choice today? Will you be led by passing feelings or by the Spirit? Choose love over anger, joy over sorrow, and guts over fear. You might not "feel" it, but trust me, just tilt your head His way, thank Him for the Holy Spirit's strength. And watch. You'll get all the joy, courage, and hope you need to rock it. Strong and courageous, just like He commanded!
