You Are Not Meant To Face Today Alone

Most of us wake up and start running immediately on whatever is left from yesterday. Last night's argument. This morning's bad news. The anxiety that was already there before you checked your phone. We face the day in our own strength and wonder why we feel drained before noon.

Isaiah 40:29 says, "He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength." This is not a promise for someday. God does not wait for you to get stronger before He steps in. He shows up specifically when you have nothing left.

Isaiah 40:31 takes it further: "Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." Notice it does not say those who try harder. It says those who wait on the Lord. The source is Him, not you.

Real talk: the Greater One lives inside you. You are not an ordinary person facing an ordinary day. As a born-again believer, God's own life is in you. So before you open that difficult email, before you walk into that meeting you are dreading, before you face that conversation you have been putting off, take thirty seconds and tell God you are drawing on His strength, not yours. That simple act of dependence is faith, and that is exactly how His power flows.

You do not hustle for His strength. You receive it. That is the whole point.
