Understanding God's Will And Our Choices

Friends, let's talk about control. Do you ever feel like things are just out of control in your life? Do you ever ask, "If God controls everything, why does He allow bad things to happen?" It's a big question, isn't it? Let's dive into the Bible for some clarity.

God gave control of the earth to us, to mankind (Ps. 115:16). He doesn't make us drive the speed limit or always act out of love. That's our choice. So, who does God control? The answer might surprise you. No one. Not Adam, not Cain. We have the freedom to choose.

But wait, does that mean God doesn't care about what's happening down here? No way! He cares deeply. He sent Jesus to heal the sick and calm the storms. Was Jesus undoing God's will? No, He was fulfilling it (John 10:10).

Did God send the church into the world to spread good news? Yes, absolutely (Matt. 28:19-20). And He doesn't punish lost people with disasters. We live in a broken world, and sometimes bad things happen. But God's heart is always for restoration.

So, if God doesn't control everything, what does that mean for us? It means we have responsibility. We have the power to choose light or darkness, life or death, dependence or independence (Deut. 30:19).

Wouldn't this earth look like heaven if God was in total control? Maybe, but He gave that control to us. Let's use it wisely. Let's seek knowledge and stop blaming everything on God. Let's respond to God's love and goodness with faith and live in a way that reflects His heart.

Dear friends, remember that God loves you and gives you the freedom to choose. He's always there, guiding you and ready to help, but He wants you to make your choices. Embrace His love and live with purpose, and you'll see His blessings unfold in your life.
