Have you ever heard someone say, "You are what you eat?" In the Old Testament, there were specific rules about what you could and couldn't eat. These weren't just random dietary trends; they had a deeper purpose. These rules shouted: Be holy, be set apart for God. But was it really all about food? Check this out. "There is nothing from outside a person, that going into them can make them impure. But the things that come out – that's what makes a person impure." (Mark 7:15) Jesus shifted the focus in the New Testament. He's telling us: It's not the beef or the sea food that makes you unholy; it's what comes out of your mouth.

Why does it matter what comes out of our mouths?
