Receiving Gods Provision
Give us this day our daily bread.
— Matthew 6:11
Have you ever noticed that the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:11 is not a question? It's not a plea of desperation but a declaration of confidence: "Give us this day our daily bread!" It's like a child confidently walking into the kitchen and saying, "Mom, I want something to eat!" The child knows their parents will provide because they are familiar with their love.
In the same way, God wants us to approach Him with boldness and familiarity. He desires us, as His children, to believe He has already provided all our needs. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to come boldly to the throne of grace, knowing that we will find mercy and grace in our time of need. God wants us to be so convinced of His love and provision that we confidently reach out and take what He has already supplied.
When you pray, do you approach God with hesitation or with boldness? Do you believe that He is eagerly waiting to meet your needs? Remember, God is a loving Father who longs to provide for His children. He has promised to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
So, let us come boldly to Him today, knowing He has already made provision for our every need. Reach out in faith and take hold of His promises. Receive your healing, your breakthrough, your provision. Declare your trust in Him and thank Him for His goodness.
Today, let's boldly ask God to meet our needs and trust that He will provide abundantly. Will you step out in faith and take hold of what He has already prepared for you?
PRAYER
