Shine Your Light!
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
— Matthew 5:16
Hey there! Have you ever thought about how much of an impact you make on others? Have you considered your influence on your friends, family, or even that stranger you just walked past?
How do you speak? Is your word as good as gold? Are you spreading good vibes, uplifting thoughts, and encouragement when you talk? Or not so much? Remember this: "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." (Colossians 4:6)
How about your actions? Think of the last thing you did. Would you be cool if it was on YouTube for the world to see? Not only that but how do you treat others? It's wild to think, but people really do watch. Without even realizing it, you're teaching them a thing or two.
Love, ever heard of it? It's that thing that makes you give without expecting and forgive without holding grudges. Did you know God loved us so much and gave us His only Son for us? Yep, that's right! "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Feeling spiritual? Are you easily shaken by every little storm, or are you anchored? Do you react out of panic or with faith when life throws curveballs? "For we live by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7)
And hey, are you keeping it real and pure? Living in a way that respects your body, mind, and soul?
Here's a thought: You might be the only "Bible" someone reads today. Crazy, right? So, shine bright, be the light, and spread goodness. "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." (Philippians 4:9)
PRAYER
Lord, help me shine Your light through my words, actions, and love. May my life bring glory to You and reflect Your goodness daily.
Amen
