The Secret Of God's Blessings

Have you ever wondered, "What must I do to receive God's blessings?" You've been praying, reading your Bible, attending church, and tithing, yet the blessings you hope for seem unattainable. Have you ever asked yourself why that's the case? The answer lies in the balance between grace and faith.

The term "grace" describes the unearned, unmerited favour from God. It's His part in the equation and totally independent of you. The grace existed before you, and it's God's gift to you. Faith, on the other hand, is your part. It's your positive response to God's grace, the way you accept what God has already provided for you. You can't have one without the other; they work together and must be balanced.

Ever read Ephesians 2:8-9? It says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Simply put, grace is God's doing; faith is your doing. Both are necessary to receive salvation.

But what does this mean for you? It means your salvation isn't dependent on just grace alone. Otherwise, everyone would be saved! God's grace is available to all, but our faith enables us to receive what was done for us through Jesus 2,000 years ago.

This might seem radical, but the truth is sin is not a big issue with God. Why? Because Jesus has already paid for all our sins, past, present, and future. The only sin that gets in the way is rejecting Jesus Christ as your Savior.

God's grace has provided for every need in your life. Whether it's financial, health, or spiritual needs, God has you covered. But here's your part: you have to receive it by faith. That's where grace and faith balance. It's not about earning or losing; it's about accepting what's already been accomplished.

So remember, God's done His part; now it's time for you to do yours: respond to His grace with faith. That dear friend, is how you live in the balance of grace and faith. Amen!
