The Missing Link In Our Faith
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
— John 14:6
Have you ever felt like something's missing in your spiritual journey? You've got the knowledge, read the books, and attended the sessions, but there's a gap? Let's dive into this together.
Jesus tells us, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6). Now, let's think about this. We've all learned that Jesus is our Way and our Truth, right? But have we truly embraced Him as our Life? Can you take the truth and separate it from life? The answer's in the Bible itself: Truth alone, no matter how profound, is like a ship without a sail if it isn't connected to Life.
Here's a question for you. What's the difference between a "relationship" with God and "fellowship" with God? We say we have a relationship with God because of what Jesus did for us. That's the blood tie. But fellowship? That's the choice we make every day. It's the conscious decision to walk and talk with God, just like Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden. It's where real, genuine truths come to light, not from a textbook or a lecture, but from God's very heart.
And you know what's interesting? The Apostle John got it. He penned down: "that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1:3). He's urging us, inviting us to this intimate fellowship, where truths aren't just concepts but become a living experience.
So, are you tired of just formulas and the occasional spiritual frustration? I've been there, and maybe you have too. Let's not settle. Let's dive deep into fellowship with our Father, allowing Him to reveal the truth of His Word in a way that transforms it from mere knowledge to life-changing revelation. Because, my friend, in that fellowship, we find the life Jesus was talking about. And trust me, it's life like you've never known before.
