The Born Again Experience

Have you ever felt like you know a lot about God but don't really know Him personally? Have you ever wondered why Christianity is different from other religions? Nicodemus, a master of Israel, had the same questions when he met Jesus. He was fascinated by Jesus' unique union with God and wanted to know more.

Jesus' answer shocked Nicodemus. He told him that the only way to truly know God was through an experience of becoming born again. What does it mean to be born again? It means to receive a new life from above, to have Jesus Himself living in our hearts. This is the number one thing that sets Christianity apart from religion.

Christianity is not just a set of doctrines or a way of life. It is a relationship with God as our father. We can fellowship with Him and experience His love, grace, and power. This is not something we can learn from books or teachers. It is something we must experience personally.

As the Bible says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
