Dive Into The Divine Logic
His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
— John 2:5
Hey there! Let's explore a fascinating event from the life of Jesus, His very first miracle. Remember that epic wedding party at Cana where they ran out of wine? Let's dive deep into that (John 2:1-11). You may wonder why Mary, Jesus' mother, asked Him to solve this problem. Do you know why? Mary knew something special about her Son - He could do what others couldn't.
Can you imagine what she tells the servants? She says, "Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it." (John 2:5). Interesting, huh? See, she believed in Jesus' power to perform miracles and knew that His methods didn't always follow the conventional way.
So, what does Jesus ask the servants to do? Fill up the jars with water. Now, you might be like, "What? Water? That's not what the party needs." Exactly, my friend! *But these servants listen to Mary; they do what Jesus says, even when it might seem illogical. And the result? Miraculous! They end up with the best wine of the evening.
You see, God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isa. 55:8). Sometimes, what He asks us to do might seem a little bit strange or foolish from our perspective. But remember, "the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength." (1 Cor. 1:25).
So today, and every day, let's follow Mary's advice and do what Jesus tells us, no matter how it may seem. Are you ready to dive into the divine logic?
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, help me to trust Your Word even when it seems illogical. Give me the courage to obey without delay. Your ways are higher, and Your plans are perfect. I choose today to do whatever You say—no matter how small, strange, or simple it may seem. Amen.
Amen
