Living In The God's Goodness
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
— Psalm 33:5
Are you aware of His goodness? It may seem like a simple question, but it holds immense significance. In a world filled with pain, suffering, and chaos, it's natural to question the goodness of God. But what if we've misunderstood Him? What if we've focused so much on the darkness that we've missed the signs of His goodness?
Consider this: Have you ever had a long-standing desire to own a particular item, like a Royal Enfield motorcycle? It becomes your dream bike, and every time you plan to buy it, you start seeing Royal Enfield bikes everywhere on the road. It's as if they've multiplied overnight. But were they really absent before, or were you just not paying attention?
We often miss the signs of God's goodness because our focus is consumed by the worries and concerns of this life. Just like how you overlooked the abundance of Royal Enfield bikes on the road until it became your desire, we fail to see the evidence of God's goodness when we're preoccupied with our own desires and struggles.
Jesus warned us that the cares of the world could choke our faith, leaving us blind to His goodness. It's easy to look at the state of the world and feel overwhelmed, believing that goodness is nowhere to be found. But this perspective needs to be revised. The Word of God declares that the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. (Psalm 33:5)
Your understanding of God's goodness is vital for your faith to flourish. The more you grasp His goodness, the stronger your trust in Him becomes. Even in the midst of pain, loss, and hardship, God's goodness remains steadfast. When you start to see His goodness in everyday moments, you'll begin to appreciate life in a whole new way.
So today, Allow His goodness to illuminate your path and guide your steps. Choose to see His goodness, and watch as the power of His love transforms your life.
