Choose Your Blessing

Hey, do you ever feel like there's this weight dragging you down? It could be sadness, sickness, or even poverty. Have you ever wondered why? The answer traces back to the beginning of time when Adam and Eve made a choice that affected all of humanity. It brought in the curse, but wait, there's hope!

So, what happened when Adam and Eve sinned? They let sickness, death, fear, and negativity into the world. Ever felt twisted inside, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually? That's the aftermath of that choice. But here's the game-changer: Jesus broke the power of that curse by going to the cross! Do you believe that? Because if you do, a whole new level of life is waiting for you. Jesus became what we were – sin, cursed, and poor – so we could become what He is: righteous, blessed, and abundant in every way. Isn't that amazing? Check out what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

God hates the curse. He hates to see you sick, poor, or sad. Have you ever felt love, joy, peace, or incredible feelings? That's God's heart for you! As Galatians 5:22-23 says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control." Anything less than that, it's the curse trying to pull you down.

So, what's the decision today? To live under the weight of the curse or rise above it? Remember John 8:36? "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free." Let's make a choice right here, right now. Choose health, joy, love, and peace. Don't give any room to negativity. Choose the blessing because with Jesus, you are free! Say it loud and proud: "I am free in Jesus!"
