Letting Jesus Take The Wheel
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
— Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
Ever felt like you're trying too hard to be a "good" Christian and it's just not working out? Like, no matter how hard you try, you keep stumbling? Well, guess what? You're not alone in this. But here's a game-changer: It's not about trying harder. It's about letting Jesus take the wheel.
So, how do we let Jesus live through us? Simple. By faith. You might ask, "What does that even mean?" Look at Galatians 2:20. It says that we live by faith in the Son of God. This means we trust Jesus with our lives, believing He's got us covered, no matter the storm.
But here’s the million-dollar question: Are we willing to step back and let Him lead? Letting Jesus lead means stepping out in faith, even when the path isn’t clear. It’s about trusting Him when He says, “Follow me,” just like Matthew did.
Remember, It's not about us trying to summon the strength. It’s about surrendering to the strength Jesus provides. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Not by our might, but by His.
So, let’s take a deep breath and let Jesus take over. It’s about His power working in us, not us powering through on our own. Let's embrace this journey with open hearts, letting His grace and strength guide us every step of the way. Trust me, it's a game-changer.
PRAYER
Jesus, I surrender my striving and choose to live by Your faith in me. Lead every step—I trust Your life and strength in me.
Amen
