Don't Miss Out On God's Harvests
But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.
— Mark. 4:29
Have you ever heard of the phrase "you reap what you sow?" It means that whatever you give out, you will receive back in return. But did you know that a harvest can come in different forms? It's not just about money, but about the blessings and opportunities that come when you sow goodness in the world.
In Mark 4:29, Jesus said, "But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come." This means that when the time is right, God will bring forth the harvest of all the good things you have sown in your life.
So, what can you sow? You can sow a smile to brighten someone's day, a kind word to lift someone's spirit, or an act of forgiveness to mend a broken relationship. These are all seeds that can bring forth a harvest of joy, peace, and love.
The harvest may not always come in the way we expect it to, but it will come. Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." This means that the more you sow, the more you will reap.
Today, think about what seeds you can sow in your life and the lives of those around you. Remember, even the smallest acts of kindness can bring a bountiful harvest. Trust in God to bring forth a beautiful harvest in His perfect timing.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that every good seed I sow in faith brings a harvest in Your perfect time. Help me to sow in love, trusting Your promises.
