Defeating Sickness With Unshakable Faith

Do you ever wonder why some people struggle with sickness while others experience healing? Is it up to God to decide who gets healed? These questions often arise when discussing the topic of healing. However, let's explore a different perspective.

What if healing is a gift given to the church, and what if it isn't up to God who gets healed but up to us? We may need more understanding. Should we gain more understanding in this area? The Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians, asking for the eyes of their understanding to be enlightened. He knew that believers needed to grasp the hope of God's calling (Ephesians 1:18).

But what is this hope of His calling? It's the assurance that God's power works in us, enabling Him to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Yes, the power is given to us! We must resist the devil, speak to the mountains, and preach the Word (James 4:7, Mark 11:24, Mark 16:20).

God has equipped us with the authority and grace to overcome sickness. We often plead with God and ask others to pray for healing, but what if we tap into our authority in Christ? If we can resist the devil, causing him to flee, we can also resist sickness.

Just as we would take immediate action if a snake were in our house, we should take authority over sickness. We shouldn't solely rely on others to pray for us but believe in our authority and use it. God's people perish due to a lack of knowledge.

Remember, your situation will surrender to your authority in Christ if you believe you have authority and use it. Sickness can be resisted just as the devil can be resisted. Let's trust in His promises and enforce healing in our lives and those around us.
