Your Legacy Starts Today, Not Later

Legacy is not the thing people say about you after you are gone. You are living yours right now, in how you treat the people already standing in front of you.

Real talk, most of us have said some version of this: I am just a regular person, nothing special here. But that is not the way God talks about you.

2 Timothy 1:9 says, "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began." Read that last part again. Before the world began. You were called before you had a single achievement to show, which means the calling never rested on your performance.

The gifts God dropped in you, the wisdom, the way you read a room, nobody else carries that exact combination. You may share traits with plenty of people, but none of them walk into your family and your friend group the way you do. That circle is yours, and you are not an accident.

Here is the thing about how Jesus did it. He preached to crowds, but He poured His life into twelve ordinary men who then carried it everywhere. He was not building a following, He was building people. You already have your twelve, they are just saved in your phone under different names.

You do not have to hustle for this. The Holy Spirit already lives in you and He knows exactly who needs you this week, so ask Him and move when He nudges. Legacy is not something you leave one day. It is something you live today.
