You Are Not Running On Empty

Some months you count what you have and it does not cover what is in front of you. Money, time, energy, all of it short. Straight up, being short is not proof that your faith failed. It is just a place where you find out what actually belongs to you.

Romans 8:16-17 says, "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ." Heirs. Not applicants, not interns.

Ephesians 1:3 says God "has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." And 2 Peter 1:3 says "His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue." Past tense, both times. The supply was released before you knew you needed it.

Jesus made the Father's heart obvious in Matthew 7:11: "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" He is not stingy with you. He is El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough.

So when the lack shouts, you do not have to hustle for the Father's attention. Ask Him. Then let the Holy Spirit show you the wisdom, the favour and the creative idea He already dropped in you. Most provision arrives through something He reveals, not something you force.

You are not a beggar at your Father's gate. You live in His house, on His account, with His name on you. Keep looking at how big He is instead of how small the number is, and the lack loses its grip.
