God Saw Every Failure And Still Paid
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
— Revelation 13:8
Most of us carry a quiet question about whether we are worth anything. It does not announce itself. It shows up when someone leaves, or when you look at your life late at night and it does not seem to add up to much.
Revelation 13:8 says, "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Slain from the foundation of the world. Before the first day of creation, the cross was already decided.
God knew everything before He started. Every failure, every person who would want nothing to do with Him, every mess we would make of what He handed us. He went ahead anyway.
And He saw you in that. Not humanity in general. You, with your specific weak spots and the things you have never told anyone.
Here is the thing about worth. It is never set by how you feel on a bad day, or by what someone told you when you were twelve, or by how many times you have started over. Worth is set by what somebody is willing to pay, and God paid everything with His eyes open. When that old verdict comes back today, you are not arguing it down with willpower. The Holy Spirit inside you is the One who reminds you what you cost.
You carry the life of the One who decided you were worth it before you ever had a chance to prove Him wrong. That is not something you earn into. It is already yours.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that You settled what I am worth before the world began. Jesus paid for me already knowing everything I would get wrong. I am not a risk You regret. Holy Spirit, quiet that old verdict when it shows up today and remind me what I cost You. I stand on that. Amen
Amen
