The Healer Already Moved In With You

Most of us have wished we could have been in one of those crowds around Jesus. Close enough to reach Him and finally get the thing sorted in person.

John 5:19 says, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner." That one sentence settles a question people argue about for years. Everything Jesus did was Him copying the Father. So watch what He did with sick people.

He never sent anyone away. Matthew 8:16 says, "When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick." All that were sick. If Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing, then healing is not God deciding case by case. That is His posture.

And you do not have to push through a crowd for it. Galatians 4:6 says, "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father." Colossians 1:27 calls it "Christ in you, the hope of glory." The same Jesus who healed people on those roads is not across town somewhere. He moved in.

Romans 8:11 says, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." That is resurrection power sharing an address with whatever your body is dealing with right now. So instead of asking God to send healing from somewhere far off, thank Him for what is already in you while you take the medicine and keep the appointment. You are not working something up. You are receiving what He already put inside.

You are not standing at the edge of a crowd hoping to get close enough. The Healer already moved in.
