Bad News Does Not Get The Final Word

Bad news sells, so the feed keeps serving it. Prices, jobs, headlines built to make your stomach drop. You are allowed to be informed without being ruled by it.

Jesus spoke straight to that in John 14:1, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." He is not scolding anxious people. He is telling you your heart is yours to settle, and He gave you something solid to settle it on.

Isaac lived through a famine, which is a real economy collapsing, not a metaphor. Genesis 26:12 says, "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him." Everybody around him was pulling back. He planted.

That works because your supply line was never the economy in the first place. Philippians 4:19 says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." According to His riches, not according to the market.

None of this means a tight season is your fault or a sign your faith is weak. Money being hard right now is not a verdict on you. The Holy Spirit inside you knows where the wisdom is, where the door is and where the provision is, and He is willing to show you when you ask.

Matthew 6:10 says, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." There is no shortage in heaven for that prayer to pull from. Hold your ground and keep sowing, because your confidence rests on Someone who does not fluctuate.
