You Do Not Have To Be Healed First
Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.
— Matthew 10:27
Something you learned in the worst year of your life is sitting in you right now, and you have probably never said it out loud.
Matthew 10:27 says, "What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops." In darkness. He is describing what He shows people in the private, difficult stretch, and He says it was never meant to stay there.
The usual objection is that you are not through it yet. You are still anxious, still waiting, still not the person in the tidy testimony. But nothing in that verse says wait until it is resolved.
Honestly, a person still in the middle of it is often easier to hear than someone standing on the other side. You are not offering a conclusion. You are saying what you have found so far, and that is enough.
Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." So this is not about performing, and it is not about having answers. Ask the Holy Spirit who needs it, and then say the small true thing to the one person He shows you.
What God gave you in the dark was not only for you. Somebody is standing where you were and does not know the way out yet.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for the things You have shown me in the hard seasons. I am not disqualified by being halfway through something, I am Yours. Holy Spirit, give me the words and the nerve when someone needs to hear it. Put one person on my mind today. I trust You with what happens after I speak. Amen
Amen
