The Voice Accusing You Is Not God's

There is a voice that shows up after you mess up and starts listing everything. It sounds like conviction. It is not. God deals with one thing at a time and always turns you toward Him, while the accuser piles it on and points you at yourself.

Romans 8:1 says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." No condemnation. Not a smaller amount of it on your better weeks.

That is possible because of what actually happened to you. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." You are not the old version being repaired. A new one was made.

And He does not walk out when you fail. Hebrews 13:5 says, "for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Psalm 23:6 adds, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." Goodness and mercy are following you around, even on the days you would not blame Him for leaving.

So this was never about behaving better first. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says, "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Giveth. It is already handed over, and the Holy Spirit is the One who renews your mind until you start living like someone who has it.

Stop seeing yourself as the person who keeps failing. That is not who God sees. Straight up, you are a new creation and the case against you is already closed.
