Jesus Never Ran An Ad Campaign
And when they had found him, they said unto him, All [men] seek for thee.
— Mark 1:37
Jesus never ran an ad campaign. No platform, no launch strategy, and crowds still walked for days to hear Him. That is worth sitting with.
Look at Capernaum. He walked into a synagogue and a demon came out of a man on His word alone. Mark 1:27 records the reaction: "And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him." That was not a show. That was authority people could see.
Acts 10:38 gives the source: "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Anointed. Given. Even Jesus operated on supply, not on charisma.
That same Spirit lives in you. You are not asked to generate anything, and you were never meant to carry the weight of convincing people. Your part is to know Him and let Him move.
Mark 16:20 says of the first believers, "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following." He confirms His Word. Not your polish, not your follower count. And when things move slowly, that is not God measuring your faith and finding it short.
So share Christ without the pressure. People are not drawn to technique, they are drawn to God being obviously present in someone ordinary. Let the Holy Spirit do the talking.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that Jesus already did the work and Your Spirit lives in me. I am not carrying the weight of convincing anyone. Holy Spirit, move through my ordinary day and confirm Your Word in it. I trust You with the results, by faith. Amen
