His Voice Is Louder Than Your Problem
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
— Romans 10:17
Most of us have prayed and then sat there wondering if anything actually came back. Hearing God is not reserved for some special category of Christian. Jesus said it belongs to everyone who follows Him.
John 10:27 says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." He said sheep, not senior sheep. Hearing came with the package the moment you became His.
The main way that voice reaches you is the one you can hold in your hands. Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." When a verse stops being information and becomes revelation in your spirit, faith rises on its own. You are not manufacturing it, you are receiving it.
That is what changes the size of a problem. The situation may not shrink, but a word from God makes it look different, because you stop measuring it against yourself and start measuring it against Him.
So when the pressure hits, go to what He already said instead of what you currently feel. Feelings move and circumstances move, His promises stay where they are. The Holy Spirit is the One who lifts those words off the page and makes them alive in you, and He is already inside you doing it.
Say His truth out loud. Believe it settles the matter, because it already does. Everything God wanted to give you was handed over in Christ, and hearing His voice is simply how you take hold of what is yours.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that Your Word is Your voice to me and it has never failed. I am Your sheep and I hear You. Holy Spirit, make the Scripture I read today come alive in my spirit. I choose to trust what You said over what I feel. I stand on that. Amen
