God Is Restoring You, Not Punishing You

When life falls apart, the first voice you usually hear is the one saying this is what you get. That God is finally settling the score with you. Straight up, that voice is not God.

Romans 8:1 says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus." Jesus already took every bit of the punishment at the cross. There is nothing left over for you to pay.

Romans 8:31 asks it plainly. "If God be for us, who can be against us?" He is not neutral about you and He is not quietly working against you. Even in the seasons that hurt, His posture toward you is restoration.

Joel 2:25 says, "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten." He does not look at what got lost and walk away from it. Rebuilding is just who He is.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." He said that to people sitting in captivity, not people sitting comfortable. So you can stop reading your circumstances as evidence against you today. The Holy Spirit in you is the one holding that truth steady while your situation is being loud.

Romans 8:38-39 says nothing in all creation "shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Not the mess, not the failure, not the season you are in right now. He is for you, and He is already at work on it.
