God Hid It For You, Not From You
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
— Matthew 13:11
There are parts of God you have not figured out yet, and that is not a sign something is wrong with you. It is how He set it up.
Matthew 13:11 says, "He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." Given unto you. These things were never hidden from you, they were hidden for you, sitting there like gifts nobody has unwrapped.
The access came with Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." You already have the Spirit who does the discerning. It is not a skill you level up into.
And it comes gradually, which is honestly a relief. Isaiah 28:10 says, "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little." A little here, a little there. Nobody gets the whole picture in one download.
So if you do not understand everything about God right now, you are not behind. The Holy Spirit is not testing you, He is walking you through it at a pace you can actually carry.
Jeremiah 29:13 says, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." That is not a hurdle, it is a promise about what happens when you go looking. He is not hiding from you. He is waiting to be found.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that You opened Your kingdom to me and kept nothing back. I am not on the outside guessing, Your Spirit lives in me. Holy Spirit, show me one thing in Scripture this week that I have never seen before. Teach me at the pace I can carry. I trust You to keep unfolding it. Amen
Amen
