The Loss You Are Carrying Can Be Planted
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
— Psalm 126:6
Somebody took something from you and never paid it back. Maybe it was money, maybe it was years you cannot get back. The bitterness that follows is not you being spiritually weak. It is the honest reaction of a person who got robbed.
Joseph knew that better than most. His own brothers sold him off, and years later he stood in front of them and said in Genesis 50:20, "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." He never pretended the wrong was not real. He said God took the wrong and made something out of it.
Here is the thing about loss in God's economy. It does not have to sit there as a dead subtraction. Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom." A seed in the ground looks like something you lost too, right up until it comes back multiplied.
Psalm 126:6 says, "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." Notice the weeping stayed in the verse. God never asked you to feel nothing about what happened.
So what does that look like on a Tuesday. A friend borrowed forty thousand rupees and stopped answering your calls. A company you gave three years to let you go over email. You are not being asked to manufacture forgiveness out of your own willpower. God already poured His love into your heart by the Holy Spirit, and releasing that person is you handing the loss over as seed instead of gripping it as a debt somebody owes you.
Nobody is telling you to call the theft a blessing. You are being told the person who took it does not get the final say over what grows out of your life.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that nothing taken from me is outside what You can use. I am not carrying this as a victim. I am Your child with Your love already poured into me. Holy Spirit, help me release the person who cost me something today. I plant this loss instead of guarding it, and I trust You with the harvest. Amen
Amen
