God Heard You The First Time

You prayed about something weeks ago and nothing has moved. The silence starts to feel like an answer, and the answer feels like no. It is not.

Jesus put the promise in plain words in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Look at where He puts the responsibility. You ask, He gives. He set that up long before you ever showed up with a need.

Daniel prayed once and then waited three weeks. When the angel finally arrived, he explained what had really been happening. Daniel 10:12 says, "Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words." From the first day, not the twenty first.

So the delay was never God making up His mind. The answer left the moment Daniel opened his mouth, and opposition slowed the delivery. That flips the whole script on waiting.

Matthew 7:8 says, "For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Every one includes you on the days you feel nothing at all. You do not have to squeeze out more faith by force. The Holy Spirit living in you is the One who holds your heart steady, and He does not get tired.

Keep praying, not to wear God down, but because what you asked for is already in motion. He is not withholding anything from you. He is faithful to His own Word, and that is solid enough to stand on today.
