The Blood Answers Every Accusation Against You

We talk about covering things with the blood of Jesus as if it were mainly about protection. That is not where the Bible puts the emphasis.

1 John 1:7 says "the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." All of it. Not the respectable ones while the rest stay on file. That is what gives you the nerve to walk up to God and call Him Father.

There is a reason this gets attacked. Revelation 12:10 calls the devil "the accuser of our brethren, which accused them before our God day and night." That is the job description. Bringing up what you did and making you feel like you have no business praying.

The accusations are often accurate. That is what makes them land. But accurate is not the same as still counting, and the blood is the reason.

Romans 8:1 says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus." Living out of that is what actually breaks things. People trying to beat an addiction or a habit by hating themselves harder tend to stay stuck, because shame has never once made anyone free. The Holy Spirit works with the truth that you are already clean, and freedom grows out of that.

The accusation may keep coming. It just does not have anything left to collect.
