Nothing Is Too Hard For Your Father

You have been told your whole life what you cannot do. Some of it was true and genuinely useful. The problem starts when those limits quietly get transferred onto God.

Luke 1:37 says, "For with God nothing shall be impossible." That was spoken to a teenage girl who had just been told she would carry the Son of God. If anyone had grounds to call something impossible, it was her.

God asks the question Himself in Jeremiah 32:27: "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" The One who shaped the ocean and hung the stars is on your side. He does not get tired and He does not run out of options.

Deuteronomy 7:17 shows where the shrinking usually starts: "If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?" Notice where it happened. In thine heart. The limit was an inner conversation before it was ever a real obstacle.

Be careful with that though. If something in your life has not turned around yet, that is not a verdict on the size of your faith, and God is not standing back waiting for you to believe hard enough. Faith is not a lever you pull, it is you leaning on Someone who was already willing.

So let the Holy Spirit talk you out of your own limits before you talk yourself out of His promises. He is not intimidated by the thing you cannot see a way through. Nothing about it is too hard for your Father.
