Your Life Is Louder Than Your Words

You can tell a lot about a person by watching what actually grows out of their life. Not the captions, not the talk. The fruit.

Matthew 7:20 says, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Jesus kept it simple. You do not get sweet fruit off a thorn bush, and no amount of good talking changes what a tree really is.

Before that lands as pressure, look at who grows the fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." It is called the fruit of the Spirit, not the fruit of your discipline. He produces it, you carry it.

So one bad day does not spoil the crop. Every one of us drops a sour apple now and then. The question is the overall yield, whether people are generally better off for having you around.

If the fruit feels thin right now, the answer is not to squeeze harder. It is to stay close to the One producing it. Give the Holy Spirit room today and let Him grow what only He can grow.

Nobody is asking you to perform goodness. You are already joined to the source of it. Let it show up in what you actually do this week, and people around you will taste something real.
